Maxine Pittet is a Sales and Business Development leader and the co-founder of Gather House. 

Born in Cameroon, she moved to Nigeria at 13 and later to Paris at 17, where she earned degrees in Law and International Relations. Her career has spanned Paris and London, where she consulted and led on growth and go-to-market strategies while building key partnerships with local and international organizations.

In 2018, Maxine relocated to Nigeria to continue her corporate career and to contribute more directly to reframing narratives about the continent from within. Shaped by a multicultural upbringing between Cameroon, Nigeria, and France, she is deeply committed to challenging narrow perceptions of Africa and expanding expectations of what it means to be African.

Through her work at Gather House, where she oversees business operations and development, Maxine champions African art, fashion, skincare, and design as rich, diverse, and of the highest quality—amplifying the stories, brands, and communities that reflect this vision.
